Who We Are
Kevin Paniagua
BSM Director
Kevin is a proud alum of Midwestern State University where he became a Christian during his freshman year. After graduating with a BS in Exercise Physiology, God called him to preach the Gospel to college students, so that they might find the same joy in Jesus as he did during his college years. Kevin started in Commerce as a Campus Missionary Intern in the Fall of 2018. Kevin is currently pursuing his MDiv at B. H. Carroll Theological Institute.

Laurie Speights
Administrative Assistant
Laurie retired from the medical field after 28 years of service, and has been faithfully serving the BSM for 8 years since then. Born in Alabama and raised in Arkansas, this true Southern woman enjoys getting to be closer to her family living here in Texas. She is the mother of three wonderful children, Morgan, Colton, and Stetson, with her husband of 27 years, Eddie. When she’s not pouring out wisdom to our students you can likely find her with her three grandkids, Aubri, Sadie, and Colter. Her sopapilla cheesecake and apple enchiladas are legendary at both the BSM and her church, Cross Trails Cowboy Church.

Our Leadership Team is a direct result of our mission to reach our campus and the world with the message of Jesus Christ. These students sacrifice countless hours in order to make ministry at the BSM happen. They are on the frontlines of the mission field on the campus.
