We have no shortage of ways for students to get connected, grow, and serve. Whether this is your first or last semester in college, we have a place for you! Find a small group bible study, come out each week to share the Gospel on campus, or get involved serving in a variety of other ways. All of our ministries are focused on providing ways for students to grow in their relationship with Christ in the context of Christian community. The Upper Studies
For upperclassmen looking for community, we invite you to join one of our Upper Studies! Join us as we read scripture together and apply it to our lives, as we seek to grow closer to God and each other.
Missions and Administration
From social media to fundraising, our Missions and Admin team takes on ministry in a different realm. In today's world, especially in the midsts of COVID-19, we seek to have a strong internet presence. This group also makes sure that the rest of the students in the BSM know of upcoming events. This team will also find new creative ways to fundraise to help us reach our student missions goal.
The Free Lunch Team
Come get a home-cooked meal and fellowship around the tables. Ask about how you can help with setup and serve during the meal, or stick around for clean-up afterward.
Freshmen Discovery Groups
FDGs are designed specifically for those who are starting their first year of college. Come meet other freshmen and develop a Christ-centered community that will last your entire time at Commerce.
Outreach and Evangelism
Loving God and loving others. Reaching the campus to reach the world. Sharing the Gospel and connecting students with the community of the BSM. This includes tabling, prayer walking, and contact evangelism each week on campus.
The Overflow Team
Our worship team devotes several hours each week practicing and rehearsing for our Thursday night Overflow service. This team leads the BSM into a place of worship through music as we sing praises to our God.
The Stacks Team
After the bars and library close, pancakes and coffee are here waiting for you. Come learn how to share the Gospel, and help serve the snacks and caffeine we all need to power through those late night study sessions.
